Tom Fremd joined Nth Power as their Chief Financial Officer in 1997.

Prior to joining Nth Power, Mr. Fremd worked as a consultant to a variety of companies in several industries including medical devices, biotechnology, software and Venture Capital. Most of the firms were start-up businesses, where he provided broad-based financial management and accounting services.

Mr. Fremd began his career at Coopers & Lybrand, auditing a variety of technology and venture capital firms. After public accounting, he joined a leading venture capital firm, as their controller, where he handled the quarterly reporting, audit and tax planning and cash management for seven limited partnerships and the related management companies. After several years in the venture capital industry, Mr. Fremd served as a senior financial analyst with Tandem Computers, where he established accounting procedures for their Field Support Organization and handled the quarterly consolidation of their multiple foreign subsidiaries.

Mr. Fremd received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Arizona State University and is a CPA.
